INTEGRATION

tapko.app + ClickUp

Your client clicks on the broken thing and types a sentence. A ClickUp task appears on your board with the screenshot attached and the full technical context — page, browser, device, viewport — one click away. Nobody copy-pastes anything.

The gap this closes

Client feedback almost never arrives in a form you can act on. It arrives as “the button looks weird on my phone” in a WhatsApp message, or as a screenshot pasted into an email thread with no URL. Somebody on your team then has to work out which page, which browser, which screen size — and only then open ClickUp and write the task.

That translation step is where reports die. Not because anyone is careless, but because it is unpaid admin sitting between the person who noticed the problem and the person who can fix it.

The ClickUp integration removes the step. The report is structured at the moment it is made, and it lands where your developers already work.

What lands in the ClickUp task

Captured on every reportWhere you get it
Report title and the client's own words The ClickUp task itself
Screenshot of the page as the client saw it Attached to the ClickUp task
Console logs, when the widget captured them Attached to the ClickUp task
Exact page URL and where on it the client clicked One click from the task
Browser, operating system and user agent One click from the task
Viewport size and breakpoint One click from the task
Priority and status of the report One click from the task

Every task is linked to its tapko.app record and every record is linked to its task, so the full technical context is always one click away from whichever side your team is working on.

Setting it up

1. Authorise ClickUp. Open Plugins in your tapko.app account and click Connect on ClickUp. You are sent to ClickUp to approve access and returned immediately. There is no API token to generate, copy, or store anywhere.

2. Choose where tasks land. In the project you want to sync, pick the workspace, then the space, then a folder if you use folders, and finally the list. Each tapko.app project points at its own list, so one client's reports never land on another client's board.

3. Share the project link. Send your client the link. From their next report onwards, tasks appear in the list you chose.

Disconnecting is the same route in reverse — Plugins, Disconnect. The stored authorisation is deleted and syncing stops. Tasks already created in ClickUp stay where they are.

Your client never sees ClickUp

This is the part that decides whether a feedback tool actually gets used. Most tools ask the client to do something first — create an account, install a browser extension, log into a portal. Every one of those steps is a place where a non-technical client gives up and reaches for email instead.

tapko.app asks the client for nothing. No ClickUp seat, no tapko.app account, no extension, no login. They open the site, click where the problem is, and type. The structured task appears on your side.

That matters more than any feature comparison. The reports you never receive cost more than the ones that arrive badly formatted.

Frequently asked questions

Does my client need a ClickUp account?

No. Your client never touches ClickUp. They click on the page where they see the problem and type a comment — no ClickUp seat, no tapko.app account, no browser extension. The task appears on your board, not theirs.

What ends up in the ClickUp task?

The task carries the report title and the client's description, with the screenshot attached — and console logs too, when the widget captured them. It is linked to the tapko.app record, which holds the exact page URL, the spot on the page the client clicked, and the browser, operating system, viewport size and breakpoint captured at the moment of the report.

Can different projects sync to different ClickUp lists?

Yes. The ClickUp connection is made once for your account, and the destination list is chosen per project — so each client's feedback can land on that client's own board.

Does the ClickUp integration cost extra?

No. Every tapko.app integration — ClickUp, Slack, Jira, Trello, Asana, Notion and Zapier — is included on every plan, including the free plan, which covers one project with no credit card and no expiry.

How do I disconnect ClickUp?

Open Plugins in your tapko.app account and click Disconnect on ClickUp. The stored authorisation is deleted and no further tasks are created. Tasks already in ClickUp are left untouched.
